CTT presented a philatelic issue that commemorates Cascais European Youth Capital 2018. This Tittle is another achievement for Portugal and for the Portuguese who have seen their heritage and identity recognized by the over the years.
The CTT thus take advantage of one of the aims of the seal, bringing to the whole world information on the most diverse subjects, from the natural and cultural patrimony of the country, to the fundamental questions of international dominion.
This stamp consists of four stamps and a philatelic block: A stamp with a face value of € 0.50 with a print run of 125,000 copies; a stamp with a face value of € 0.63 and a print run of 100,000 copies; a stamp with a face value of € 0.80 and a print run of 125,000 copies; a stamp with a print run of 105,000 copies and a face value of € 0.85; and a block with a value of € 1.40 and a circulation of 40,000 copies.
The stamps have a format of 30.6 X 40 mm and the block of 95 X 125 mm and the design was in charge of Isabel Silvéria of the Municipality of Cascais.
The first day obliterations will be made at the Restauradores CTT Stores in Lisbon, Municipality in Porto, Zarco in Funchal, Antero de Quental in Ponta Delgada, and CTT Store in Cascais.
