It is already on Saturday, October 13, between 3.30 pm and 5.45 pm that Cascais European Youth Capital 2018 hosts the exhibition of the film "Europe: que pasixão!" In the Casa das Histórias Paula Rego, followed by a debate.
This is an initiative of the Jacques Delors European Information Center, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and the Faculty of Law of the New University of Lisbon, and the event will consist of two moments.
3:45 pm - projection of the film "Europa que paixão!" that narrates through 12 songs and images the history of European Integration, involving the audience in the process;
4:45 pm - debate "Promotion of Democratic Values, the exercise of Citizenship and Intercultural Understanding" moderated by the Commissioner of the European Capital of Youth, Catarina Marques Vieira, in which Teresa Violante, a lawyer specializing in Constitutional Law and Human Rights, Emellin de Oliveira, PhD in European Law, Researcher and PhD Scholarship, and Afonso Ferreira, Bachelor of Law and Master in European Union Law from the College of Europe, Bruges, will participate.
The event is part of the AwarEU - European Awareness project, whose priority is to encourage civic participation, multiculturalism and contribute to the fight against Euro-skepticism. It is a project funded under the Call "Social Inclusion through Education, Training and Youth" under the Key Action 3 - Policy Innovation Initiatives of the Erasmus + Program.
